In a nutshell, Magnifying Glass Pro magnifies a region of the screen for easy viewing. But there are many ways in which Magnifying Glass Pro does this. For example, you can set it to magnify the area surrounding your mouse pointer. You can even change the size of the area that is magnified. Or you can give the magnified area somewhat fixed position (for example at the top of the screen) and have it show the area where your mouse pointer moves.
You can activate or deactivate the magnifying glass by clicking the tray icon or by using one of the many hotkeys that are assigned to the app.
The application has a set of profiles, which are sets of configurations for specific types of magnification. For example, you can assign a "target" to an application. So, when you set a target to application "X", Magnifying Glass Pro will remember the settings that you configured for that application and will execute and apply them. This works very well.
Double-magnification is a very nice feature. Magnification can occur twice in the same magnification area, so you can see a 2X magnification and 4X magnification of the same item side-by-side.
There are many more features that make this app a very advanced tool for people with sight problems.
All in all, the application is the most complete app of this type that I have seen. It is not free, but you are definitely getting what you are paying for.
